Guyana Carnival Registration 2018

Registration

To register in Genesis Carnival, masqueraders may do so using the following methods:

Priority Pre-registration – Sign up in advance to get first preference in any section in Genesis Carnival. Pre-registrants will automatically be part of the elite squad of masqueraders as we make our way to the Finish Line!

Section Promoter – Register for Genesis Carnival through your favourite crew to join in the fun! Section promoters will be given first preference to register masqueraders using a unique identifier from December 3rd 2017 to January 31st 2018

Open Registration - Backline costumes are open to the public for registration at our Band House or Online (www.guyanacarnival592.com or www.genesiscarnival.com)

Frontline Registration - To register for a Frontline costume, visit our website www.guyanacarnival592.com. Very limited spots are available.

COSTUME PAYMENTS

We accept the following payment methods:

Online: Credit Card Only (VISA &Mastercard)

Band House: Cash ONLY

Cheques will not be accepted as a form of payment.

PAYMENT POLICY

Costume registration is only considered complete after receipt of a down payment. Down payments are required as follows:

Male Costumes –US$150
T-shirt Section –US$150
Female Backline Costumes –US$200
Female Frontline Costumes – US$350

Any costume add-ons must be paid for in advance upon registration.

COSTUME COLLECTION

All costumes remain the property of Genesis Carnival until costume has been paid off in full and collected.
Masqueraders may only collect costume packages in their name and must present a valid form of ID upon collection at the distribution centre.

Masqueraders collecting costume packages on behalf of someone must produce an authorization letter and copy of the masquerader’s ID at the distribution centre. A digital copy must be sent in advance via email in the name of the masquerader to Genesis Carnival.

Masqueraders will be advised when their costume is available to collect via our distribution schedule in email, website and social media platforms.

The final date for costume collection is Thursday 24th May, 2018.

All uncollected costumes will be auctioned for resale on Friday 25th May 2018.
